   Five bars at least of hammered steel;
   The boldly on the floor advance,
   To mingle in the giddy dance;
   But ere they made their second round,
   Miss Tabby's houf dropt on the ground,
   To which her partner made a rush,
   Then bolted with her to a bush,
   Where at the owl upon the beech,
   Sent forth a most untimely screech
   On went the dance, as time did
