- This is another story about the Liosir. A foxy man was taking the shortcut from Kilnacarriga to Camphire. When passing the Liosir he saw a number of people hurling. There were more hurleys lying at the gap in the ditch. Being a keen hurler he chose the best one of these hurleys with the intention of joining the players. One of the latter came to him and told him he couldn't take the hurley. So the boy said he would play for it. The other consented telling him to play on his side. This side won.
