    Lonag ago two bad men lived in Curraghreigh, Tallow.

    The next night they went out again, this time to steal an ash tree. They went to the Sweep to cut it. They cut it over and over but it never fell until just at twelve oclock. Just then they heard a bull and chains. The bull was rooting and trying to come across the Bride. One man could see the bull. Then he stopped and they heard no more for a few minutes. They tried to move the tree and it rolled along. Then again one of them could hear people laughing and clapping of hands. One got a weakness and he had to be carried home in a horse and cart.
