    Oh, adorable Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, dying on the gallows tree, send us safe through this life. Oh Holy Cross of Christ, ward off from us all weapons of danger, ward off from us all things that are evil. True as Jesus died to save us sinners, true as He ascended into Heaven, so the honour of Jesus will keep us from our enmies now and for ever more Amen.
