  1. In Patk. Connor's field there is a large white-thorn bush. It is situated south west of a sandpit, and is in the view of anyone who is passing on the Ballinahaglish road.
    Patk. went to cut some branches off the bush, and after cutting one, three drops of blood fell on his hand. He left the bush there for a few weeks, and again cut another branch. This time he did not interfere with the side out of which the blood had come.
