    Sixty years ago, there was a Saw Mill at the Crossroads at Corroy, Backs, Co. Mayo. The owner of the mill was Michael Doherty.
    It was situated on the north west of the crossroads. Some of its walls are still to be seen. he used to saw his own timber, and make chairs and tables.
