“There was an old house about 100 years ago in Ballymacredmond.”
(continued from previous page)arrived the next morning he found the boy asleep at the fire. He spoke to him, and asked was he asleep. The boy awoke and told him he was very tired after the night. His master was surprised, and asked him what was he doing. The boy told him all the story about the strange men. His master was very happy to hear this story.
After a while the boy and his master rode on their long journey. Before sunset they had all the money paid. When they reached home the boy was very tired and went to bed.
At midnight the boy heard some noise. He got up, and went to the(continues on next page)
