  1. There was an old forge in Mount Falcon Backs, Co. Mayo. This forge was built by Mr. Knox's men. It is sixty years since this forge was used. it was for the use of Mr. Knox, and for the people of the district. Paddy Mchale Drumrevagh, Backs, Co. Mayo, was the blacksmith.
    It is not there now, but the walls are still to be seen. There are old horse shoes, and pieces of irons hung on the walls now.
