All the cats ran to one side of the road to let Jordan pass. When he pass all the cats said, "go home and tell Biddy the Trench [?] that Maggie The Spear is dead." When he came home he began telling his people about it. They had a thin cat along the fire and he all covered with ashes and he burned in the fire.
When the cat heard that he got up on the floor and he shook himself and he was as fine as a cat as you ever saw. He(continues on next page)
