    in one hand and the potatoes in the other rub the potatoes on the grater until it is grated into a soft mass like froth. Put the grated potatoes into a muslin bag and squeez the water out of them. Then you mix the dry part with a little salt and soda to make it into "farals", and bake in a heated pan for three quarters of an hour. The liquid of the grated potatoes is used for starch.
