  1. Ghost Stories
    One night my father was coming out of Cars, Killala. He was mending some furniture all day. When he was coming out of the house the man of the house, namely George Massey, was out minding a sick cow.
    My father waited a while of the night with him. The both of them left the cow-byre. Mr Massey went into the house, and my father was coming home.
    When he was coming out the lane which is very dark on account of all the trees, he obsessed a big sheep some distance away.
    He often heard tales about this mysterious sheep before, that used to be seen their after midnight. Never thinking of anything at that time
