  1. There was once a poor man who had twelve in family. Himself and his poor wife used to have to struggle hard to get them fed and clothed.
    He went to the fair of Moyne with an old cow that was worth about three or four shillings. She was a great nuisance around any house she used to eat clothes and everything she used to find.
    A Jobber came up to him and asked him what price did he want for her, and he said ten shillings. The Jobber then caught the cow by the head and
