    who taught in Carras Hedge School from each person every quarter.
    The scholars who went to those Hedge-Schools were attentive to the instructions given to them and they carried them out correctly.
    There were a lot-of better scholars that time than there are at the present day.
    It was Irish language mostly spoke that time. Very little English was spoken.
    The Teachers of the "Hedge-Schools" made the children speak it so as they would have Irish and English.
