In days gone by a man in Lisdeen dreamt three times in succession that there was money hidden beside a tree and he decided to dig for it. One day he started to dig for it he had not gone far when he met horse shoes and when he was throwing up the horse shoes a woman stood beside him. He knew her for she was his first cousin and she said to him she was going into the house. Before she went into the house she said to him "you are digging for money and he said nothing. He was very near the money when the woman came when he went into the house he asked did she stay long and the woman of the house said that there was no one out there he also failed to find the money. When he came out from the house he started digging again and he met a flag and only the print of a pot under it.
