I do not know of anything being done with water for washing the feet except that it is thrown out.
I do not know of any custom or belief connected with it.
Sometimes boots and shoes are repaired in the home by the parents.
Clogs were worn long ago and are (rarely) still worn. I do not know if leather was made in this district at any time and I only know of one proverb which is "There is nothing like leather.
