    In a little brick house on the side of a hill

    (continued from previous page)
    The neighbours and children all liked her so well
    Though they often would fail in command
    Because of her Irish_ so broken she talked
    There were none who could well understand
    But her voice is long stilled, just a memory remains
    A memory refreshingly clear
    And she lives with us yet (to those who have known)
    Quite as plainly as though she were here.
