    sun shines brightly early in the morning the weather will be wet. It is also a sign of rain when the ducks begin to quack. When the cattle seek shelter under a tree it is the sign of rain. When the small flies are very plentiful it is the sign of rain. When rocks are damp it is also a sign of rain. "It is a sign of rain if the birds fly up to the chimneys and face the wind.
