- In the parish of Drumraney there lives a man and his name is John Fitzpatrick, and he is a good runner. On one occasion he saw a hare lying in a form. He got two greyhounds and he let them out after the hare. But he himself took off his boots and stockings and ran with the dogs after the hare. The hare and dogs jumped a stone wall and the man jumped it also. The man kept up to the dogs and hare until the dogs killed the hare. A few days after this the man went to the asylum.
