Jenny church or better know as Kilshine is over near Mountainstown. St Jenny is supposed to have a monastry and a church there. I dont think there is any trace of the monastry in it now.
Kilshine is the Irish for Jenny's church.
It is a Protestant church for a good many years now. - The patron saint of Castletown is Saint Patrick. He built no church or monastry in this district. I dont think he worked any miracles either. There is a well near the Protestant church in one of Mr James McKeevers. It is called Saint patrick's well.
Some years ago a Protestant minister named Longfield, washed his dogs in this well(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
