  1. Prayer to the Blessed Virgin.
Blessed Virgin, shelter me under thy blue cloak of protection from shame, blame and scandal, from the snares and powers of the devil. If there is a cross before me may the great God cross it. Amen.
When the clock strikes this prayer should be said.
Jesus this hour I give to thee,
For all that has passed O pardon me.
I know that I may soon depart.
So hide me in your Sacred Heart.
    Jesus by the branch.
    Mary by the flower.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph be with me.
At my last dying hour. Amen.
