  1. A funny story
My Mother was talking to a girl in Dundalk on the 3rd of August 1936. The girl is Miss Lille Burn's 21 Wynnes Terrace Dundalk and she told her that a friend of her's was rushing for the bus one morning as she thought she was late and she ran off without her breakfast.
She lifted her hand-bag in a rush and when she got on the bus she soon found out her mistake. It was not her handbag that she had but a rubber hot water bottle.
I got this story from my mother.
