    A cure for a head-ache is, to soak brown paper in vinegar and wrap it tightly around your head.
    A cure for the measles is to get a little drop of whiskey and drink it.
    A cure for a pain in your ear is to get a small piece of cotton wool soaked in olive oil, and put it into your ear.
    A cure for tooth-ache is to put some iodine on a piece of cotton wool and put it into your tooth.
    A cure for a cold is to get some fresh butter-milk and boil it and put some sugar on it and drink it.
    A cure for whooping cough is to put the child in and out under-neath a briar bush that grows from two roots.
    A cure for corns is house-leek you must rub your feet well with it, this grows on the side
