- "Garra Sheáin Fhada", is the name of one of our fields at home. It is said that it was called this name, because in the time of the Penal Laws a man by the name Seán Fhadha" bought this field. He was not living near this place but he used have cattle in in it. Another name is "Páirc bhán" The field got this name because it used to be white with Daisies during the Summer months "Muing" Received this name because it is very wet and marshy. It is near the hill and there is a lot of furze growing in in. "Páirc Garb" It was given this name because it is there we get the furze. There are heath and thatch growing in it. "Gort" is the name of another one of my fields. It was called(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
