    would have a cloving tongs and they each sitting down on a bag of hay and working like anything until six oclock. Then they would have potatoes , meat, cabbage and turnips which was their delight. Then when that would be over a crowd of boys and men would come in and they would be dancing until twelve oclock and that would be on every night for a week.
