  1. Long long ago the people used to have no meat nor many other things like we have now. The food for the breakfast about a hundred years ago consisted of stirabout with skim milk or if they had not this they used potatoes and salt and sour milk. This they had again at dinner but maybe the men got an egg but very rarely. For the supper they had stirabout and some times they got new milk but this was only around Christmas. But other wise they used the skim milk. Then after another 40 or 50 years they had some bread and tea. For their breakfast they had tea for the old people but the children never got only milk because tea
