  1. One night the shopgirl told me a story concerning my district of Ballyjamesduff and the following is the story.
    Once upon a time three young men heard that there was gold hidden in the Moat which is situated in the Parish of Castlerahan.
    This gold was supposed to be hidden under the ground. The clue to where the gold was hidden was, that when the three men came to a small bush in the centre of the field in which the Moat was situated, here the gold was hidden.
