  1. The games that are played around my district of Ballyjamesduff, are marbles Hop - scotch and Hide and go Seek.
    When they are playing Hop - Scotch, the first thing they do is, draw six squares on the ground and they call them beds. Then they get a piece of a stone, and throw it from bed to bed, and when they throw it to all the beds, they put it on their foot and walk around each one of the beds.
    When that is done they would close their eyes and walk on the beds trying not to walk on the lines, and the person who walks on the lines is out.
