  1. One night a man named Byers from Claudia, Ballyjamesduff, was going home from the town, he saw a big man standing in front of him he went to go past but he could not.
He turned back and was going home another way, when he saw the big man again and could not get past.
He started to talk to the man but he got no answer from him. Then the big man disappeared, as the other man was on the way home he tripped across a stone, fell into a river and was drowned.
