  1. A man named James Smyth, told me that if you have a number of warts on your hands, get as many rushes as you have warts on your hands.
    When you get the rushes, rub each rush to each wart, and when you are finished rubbing it, bless the wart with the rush. When you rub, and bless the warts, throw all the rushes across a ditch.
    When they begin to rot the warts will begin to fade, away from your hands also, and when the rushes are rotted away, the warts will fade from your hands.
