  1. There is a man living in the townland of Claudia, in the parish of Castlerahan, and he has the cure for warts.
    The way he cures them is, he gets three rushes, and makes the sign of the cross on the warts, with each of the three rushes.
    Then he takes the three rushes, and hides them where no person will find them; as the rushes are dying away; the warts are going away also, and after a while the warts go away altogether. This
