    Our home district is Clonshanny and Rahan.
    There are sixteen families in Clonshanny.
    There are sixty seven people living in Clonshanny.
    Minock is the most common name in Clonshanny.
    There are more thatched houses in Clonshanny than any other sort. Clonshanny got its name because there were Foxes living in it before.
    Ther are a few old people living in Clonshanny None can talk Irish but in English. Mike Minnock, Peter Egan, Jack Connor and Mrs. Connor and Jimmy Fletcher can tell old stories.
    Clonshanny, Clara, Offaly is their address. The houses are more numerous now than in olden times. There are no traces of ruins now. A great many people emigrated to America. Clonshanny was never mentioned in any song or saying that I know. The land is mixed of every kind.
