  1. Some travelling folk come to our house. Some of them sell small articles such as, tin-saucepans, carpets and mats. A lot of people buy from them. Some of them do not sell anything but they go around from door to door begging for charity.
When we give them anything and they go away from the district, when they come back to our district again they come to our house for something.
Some of these are very poor and more of them are not quite so poor.
Any of these that sell small articles make them themselves.
Once or twice some of these slept in Mr Lougheed's hayshed for a night or two.
Any travellers that come to our district sleep in caravans or huts at Bog Town Cross.
