There is a bye-road going down to our house. There is a road going down to the Clonshanny bog. There is a bye-road going up to Minnocks. The rivers were crossed by ford in in shallow places. There are three ford in Clonshanny one in Daly's field one in Clavins and one in Minnocks who are all in Clonshanny.
Strawberry Lane and Carrill's Hill are by-roads in Ballycumber.
There used to be dancing at the crossroads and tossing.
There are no monuments to the dead along any of these roads. Some of the bye-roads are used still.
