The rivers were crossed by ford in in shallow places. There are three ford in Clonshanny one in Daly's field one in Clavins and one in Minnocks who are all in Clonshanny.Strawberry Lane and Carrill's Hill are by-roads in Ballycumber.
There used to be dancing at the crossroads and tossing.
