    There is a man in Ballycumbe whose name is Fleming and he can cure anyone that is scalded. He puts his hand on them and prays and they are cured then.

  2. The Ballycumber Barrack was burnt about seventeen years ago. The Clara Barrack was burnt about eighteen years ago. Colonel Eyre's house near Ballycumber on the Ballyboughlin road was burnt about seventeen years ago. Mooruck's house was burnt about seventeen years ago. Minock's house of Cool-rain on the Tullamore road was burnt about ten years ago. That is all Peter Egan knows about burning.
