  1. Cure for cut in vein. Put an ivy leaf to the cut vein and say a few prayers and the vein will stop bleeding.
    Cure for a stone bruise. Put a piece of fat bacon on the stone bruise and leave it there for a few days and it will cure it.
    Cure for warts. Rub the milk of the dandelion on the warts several times and after a short time it will be cured.
    Cure for a swelling. Put linseed on the swelling and in a few days it will be cured.
    Cure for palsy. Put cow slips on it and in two days it will be cured.
    Cure for chillblains. Wash them in the Friars stream and it will cure it.
    Cure for sore mouth. Go to a person who has never seen his father and he will say certain prayers and you will be cured.
