   “Once upon a time there was a boy crossing a field where there was a fort.”

   Once upon a time there was a boy crossing a field where there was a fort. When he came to the fort he met two ladies dressed in white. They began talking to him, and when they went away the boy got crippled, and his companions had to take him home.

   When he was brought home, his mother sent to Biddy Early for a cure. Biddy made up the cure alright, but when his mother was giving it to him, a woman came in and said. "Give him plenty more of it". The mother did so and B.E. couldn't get a cure to make him alright anymore".
