   A big bellows and one fire place is at the inside. The smith does not make farm implements but he repairs them. Part of the work is done at the outside of the forge. Here there is also a large stone which is used for ironing wheels.

2. The Care of Our Farm Animals

   The farm animals consist of horses, cows, calves and pigs. Most of the cows have names such as small Condron, big Condron, red Shanacan and so on. When driving the cows in or out of a field you would say how, how and when calling the calves you would say suc, suc, suc. The cowhouse is long. The walls are built with stone. It has a timber roof and is covered with iron. There are two cross walls inside so it is divided into three parts. There are also six stalls in each house. The stalls are made of timber and they
