  1. There are two fairy forts in this district. One is called Lios Aimhreid and there is a small bit of another one remaining. The two of them are in Woodstock and they are in view of each other. Both of them are round and the ditch is made of earth. It was said that there was a boot[?] of gold burried there and a man made a hole the depth of himself to see could he come at the gold. It was the Firbolgs that built them and the Danes were not connected with them.
