The way to make a sling is, first to get a piece of leather about three inches in length and an inch and a half in width. Next get two pieces of twine of equal lengths and attach them to the leather. The sling is now complete. Then get a stone and put it into the leather and take hold of the two strings and twist the sling quickly around and when it is in force let one string go and the stone will go a great distance.
