  2. There is a rath about one hundred yards from where I live in the townsland of Clonagooden. There are supposed to be fairies who live under the ground since the time of the Sunbright race of People hundreds of years ago. Old people say that they are still in the country but this belief is dying out among the young. Lights are very often seen at the rath in this townsland and beautiful singing late in
