  2. Holy Wells

    There is a holy well in Cromogue. It was in a tree and one year there was a scarcity of water and a certain farmer washed potatoes in it and the well left the tree and went over to Cromogue. It is called Saint Fintan's well. It is very well kept and hundreds of men, women, nuns and priests visit there every year.
