    round the tree. People who are deaf, blind or have any disease are cured at the well if they have faith. They make nine visits to the well and after the ninth visit they are cured if it's God's will.

  2. There is a holy well in Cromogue. It was in a tree and one year there was a scarcity of water and a certain farmer washed potatoes in it and the well left the tree and went over to Cromogue. It is called Saint Fintan's well. It is very well kept and hundreds of men, women, nuns and priests visit there every year.
