    There is a well on Knocksira and it is called St. Kieran's Well. There is a bush growing over it and a big flag stone covering it. One time a man was cutting the ditch around the field and he cut a bit off the bush. He got a thorn and got blood poison and died . No one ever cut a piece off it since.
