  1. The different classes of travelling folk are namely Gypsies, Tinkers, Chimney Sweeps and Tramps
The tinkers sells tin cans and gallons and mends pots, ovens and other household articles. The old women beg for flour and other things that they need.
The tinker is generally welcome if the things that he sells are needed but if not his is not welcome
They often let in their animals into the farmer's fields and take fences for fire wood.
People do not listen to their stories or ask for news
They are never let stay in people's houses but they stop along the road for a week or more.
