    and the "bohelawn" on good land.
    Many herbs are used for curing diseases or ailments. Among them are the chicken-weed- a cure for swelling. Dandelion for stomach trouble. Hemlock used for growing pains. Nettles for a nettle rash. Garlic used for a cold. Rhaggoge is a cure for removing worms from children.
    Chicken weed must be roasted before applying it to a swelling Dandelion must be boiled also Hemlock and Nettles.
    Nettles and Garlic are used as food for young turkeys. Fairy Finger leaves is a cure for ring-worm.
    Long ago blossoms and heather were used in dicing.
