    John Connor 7 yrs who fell into the Shannon at night. Tommie jumped in fully clothed and found John but the child was dead.

    Brendan Grogan Station House Dromod. Swam in after another Connor child - Frank brother of John Connor drowned in 1937.

    Frank was 6 yrs and the accident occurred n July 1934. The child survived and attends Cloonturk Boys N.S.

    Joe Milton 46 Derrycarn, Dromod now lives in Dublin. Was poor but truly musical.
    His father taught him to play the violin. Joe went to Dublin played in Manahan's band then a leading orchestra.
