- There was once a castle building in Poulanine between Ballinakil at Woodford. At that time Harry Louis a landlord who lived in Ballinagar had a ploughman named John Moran. One day he was ploughing and when he came to the headland he stood. Someone saw him and was wondering why was he not turning in the horses. He came near him and he was asleep having hold of the handles of the plough and he was saying these words:-"Béidh Béal Atha na Gáir gan oidhre dílis
Béidh Bailecrobán (?) gan beagán daoine
Agus béidh caisleán Poll an Eidhin gan críocnadh choidhche(Told to me by Pat Hughes, Airyhill)- Collector
