  1. Diarmuid and Gráina were once at a dance. Diarmuid were one of the Fenians. Grána was going to get married to Finn and Diarmuid stole her away from the dance unknown to Finn. They came to County Galway and travelled on through the mountains until they came to two flat flags in Paddy Spains land in Ballinahil. They were so tired after their journey that they slept on the stones. The two stones are running up beside one another. And the stones are now called Leaba Diarmuid and Grána.
