  1. The name of my townland is Kylegarriff. There are ten or eleven houses in it. Every one of them is thatched. Hughes is the most common name in it. There are seven or eight (fam) old people in it over seventy years. The can tell stories in English and not in Irish. Some years ago there did a lot of people go to America from the place. There is a river in the place named Loch Mullach na gCoill. It is one side of Gleann a' mada in the mountain's. There is a lot of wildgeese in that lake.
