    The Care of the Feet
    People long ago did not wear any shoes until they were a certain age. The shoes they had were only made from skins of animals. When shoes came out first they were made of timber. These shoes were called clogs. Long ago there was many shoemakers, around, because every shoe that was worn was made by the shoemakers. They are not so plentiful now because factories were opened and the shoes that are made by the factories are lighter than the ones that were made by the shoemakers
