Ar an leathanach seo
- The chief games long ago were bowling, hurling and football.
Bowling was usually played along the road and often from one public-house to another.
In Cratloe they used to start at Setrite public-house and go on to Ryan's public-house. They used go in there and take a drink each. Then they used come out again and carry on to Newmarket. They used go in there and take [?] drink and so on until they arrived at Ennis.
There was also another match in Ryan's field between "Barna-mor" and the Cratloe Champion's and there was a song composed about it.The Cratloe gaels are a long time down and every body knows it too.
But now we have a gallant team selected by "Barna-mor"
They are as pluckly as I have seen and after a short training they will make a splendid seventeen.
They haved conquered all the daddies and put them in good cheer.
And ther'e going to affiliate the club for county Lawely next year.

When they opposed the Cratloe boys and made champion yeld
The scores bring small above them but that was no surprise(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
